I’ve always been captivated by people—the stories that shape them, the communities they build, the conflicts they navigate, and the hope that keeps them moving. That curiosity led me through Theatre Arts, Criminology and Sociology, and Religion and Justice. On the surface, those fields may seem unrelated. In reality, they’ve all helped me explore a single, enduring question:"What does it mean to be human, and how do we live well together?"Today, that question sits at the heart of the ventures I’ve founded and the creative work I lead across community building, mental_health, and storytelling.Faith has been a steady thread through that journey—not just an academic interest, but a lens that shapes how I understand compassion, reconciliation, purpose, and the inherent dignity of every person. Whether I’m developing a program, producing a performance, or writing a song, my goal is the same:
to create spaces where people can encounter a story, a new perspective, or even themselves—and leave changed by it.
MY INITIATIVES
Yélodo Inc
A nonprofit dedicated to real‑life healing. Yélodo creates trauma‑informed workshops and community experiences that support immigrants, parents, young professionals, and faith‑based communities with practical tools for emotional wellness and resilience. Through programs like Permission to Breathe, Loving You, and After Sunday, Yélodo helps people process the weight they carry, find language for their experiences, and build strength through community and compassion.
Ink & Tabs Theatre Co.
A creative house for theatre, performance, and narrative exploration. After two years of short‑form community and church presentations, Ink & Tabs recently completed its first major mainstage production, "Eyes That See"—a full‑length play that I wrote and directed. The company exists to spark dialogue, deepen empathy, and bring communities together through the power of live storytelling.

My home for music and writing; Both come together to explore gospel, faith, and the everyday realities of loving God and loving people. Through melodies, poetry, and shared artistic work, @gtimoru expresses the stories, questions, and convictions that shape my life—offering sound and language for hope, healing, and wholehearted devotion.
